Following is a list of some of our contest judges, past and present:

Mike Payne
Mike is best known for his hits with The Paynes. He has written the songs "When He Was On The Cross (I Was On His Mind)," "The Conversation," "Angels Step Back," "Who But God," "I'm A Jesus Fan" and "Out Of This World".

Greg Day
Greg is a Southern Gospel Artist and is also a songwriter. One of the most notable songs he has written is "Midnight Cry." "Midnight Cry" first went #1 back in 1987 by Gold City and has since been recorded by Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir, Clay Crosse, Alvin Slaughter & Michael English. This song was also included on the "Left Behind" movie and soundtrac with sales of 5 million plus. Another notable #1 song is "Angels In The Room" made popular by The Ruppes. 
David Patillo
David is a Zion recording artist and the writer of over 450 songs. He has released 19 nationally charting singles. He is best known for writing "Ten Thousand Angels Cried"  recorded by Karen Peck & New River and Country artist LeAnn Rimes.

Jeff McLaughlin
Jeff is a songwriter, producer, studio musician & founder of "The International Southern Gospel Music Network". He has been involved in groups and studio work with such artists as Twila Paris, David Ponder (of Ponder, Sykes & Wright), Don Thomas (former tenor for The Florida Boys), as well as many others.

David Ponder
Southern Gospel Artist with Ponder, Sykes & Wright; Producer in Nashville, TN at Michael Sykes Productions. You will see his name in the credits for many artists like The Gaither Vocal Band, Carmen, Shirley Ceasar, Higher Faith, and many others.

Laura Hudson
Radio Promoter for Showcase Media & Management in Charlotte, NC and is responsible for the airplay success of many of the hits from the Martins, Howard & Vestal Goodman, Higher Faith, as well as several others.

Pamela Furr
Formerly a Publisher for Cal IV Christian in Nashville, TN responsible for publishing hits for Faith Hill as well as several Southern Gospel artists. She currently hosts a morning show at a large radio station in Nashville.

Gwen Eddy
Formerly a Column Writer for The Gospel Voice Magazine, currently a writer for
